The Acrylic Paintings of Chen Fei

Hình ảnh
Chen Fei’s sharp acrylic paintings carry dark humor and allusions to art history. The China native’s crisp linework borrows from pop art and comic book sensibilities, yet much of these references harken back to centuries-old work. And much of the work carries the artist’s own figure, rendered in both graceful and shameful situations. More Source link from WordPress https://ift.tt/2Om3yKe via IFTTT

Skirts are seasonless staples—ask any “skirt person” —but come fall there is a bit of trickery around how to style pieces in transitional weather. 7 Cool French Outfits to Repeat From Instagram Now

French women are certainly a strong source of inspiration for this editor. I’ve covered the topic at length, touching on everything for the 7-piece French fall wardrobe to exactly how I learned to dress like the French from some firsthand observations when living in Paris for three months. Recently, though, I don’t have to take a trip to Paris to take in their style lessons. Instead, I’m looking to Instagram to find out their best outfit ideas and adopting them for myself. If you, too, admire French style as much as I do, and wouldn’t mind borrowing some of their best outfit ideas, I’ve rounded up some of the very best here. Everything I Stopped Wearing Since Becoming a Fashion Editor

In many ways, my style has stayed the same since I became a fashion editor at Who What Wear, but it occurred to me recently that it has evolved in certain areas and there are a few notable changes. While my style has always been rooted in classic items and investment pieces—and that hasn’t changed—I discovered that I now have a low tolerance for uncomfortable shoes and clothes that haven’t been tailored. These are unquestionable changes that have improved my everyday looks.  There are a few other more dramatic areas of change, though. This comes down to the colors I’m wearing and the silhouettes I’m experimenting with. Ahead, I’m breaking down the 6 major ways my style has changed since becoming a fashion editor and shopping out the pieces to tap into it yourself.  قالب وردپرس The post Everything I Stopped Wearing Since Becoming a Fashion Editor appeared first on MusicCosmoS . from WordPress https://ift.tt/2OST05R via IFTTT

44 Flats-and-Dresses Outfits to Love Now

After attending multiple fashion weeks, I noticed a commonality among the women who looked like they hadn’t tried very hard: They were wearing dresses. That’s not to say you can’t look effortless in a look with pants, shorts, or a skirt, but there’s something about wearing just one article of clothing that radiates nonchalance. Jumpsuits share a similar trait. You can make a dress work with just about any pair of shoes under the sun, but if you pair flats with said dress, that’s a sure bet for an easy look. Comfort and minimal time in front of your bedroom mirror? That’s a pairing I can get behind. And before you say that flats and dresses are best left for those bestowed with model-like height, I made sure to include examples from women of all statures. As someone who is 5’4”, I definitely consider it as well! With that said, scroll down for the flats-and-dress outfits worth re-creating, handily split up between different types of low-to-the-ground footwear. قالب وردپرس The pos...

30 Items That Empower Women With Every Purchase

Who run the world? Girls.  That’s right, Beyoncé, and it’s high time we stepped up to the plate in support of women everywhere. If you’re looking for ways to give back, one of the easiest solutions is to shop with intention and choose brands that stand for what you believe in . In the fashion industry, it’s historically been rare for women to hold leadership roles at brands, but more often than not, we’re the ones designing, producing, and shopping for the clothes, shoes, and accessories. In a world where we are still working towards finding an equal space and a “seat at the table”, where you spend your money  does matter. Whether or not we realize it, every time we make a purchase, we make a small but significant vote in support of the brands we’re shopping, which is why we’ve curated a shopping guide featuring 10 fashion brands founded by women and designed with women in mind every step of the way. They arm their artisans and factory wo...
