Who What Wear’s editors have had their sights firmly fixed on the runway shows in New York, London, Milan, and Paris this month. While we’ve been taking in all of the new trends that have made an appearance for the spring 2019 collections, there are some pieces we just can’t wait six months to wear. So, we’re taking matters into our own hands and test-driving the trends right now for ourselves before all of those designer pieces hit stores in six months. Curious to find out which fashion items are topping our editors’ lists, I asked each of them to share the trend they can’t wait to try out and the  under-$100  piece they’re wearing now. When it comes to the runway shows during fashion month, I always walk away feeling inspired and ready to add some new trends and pieces to my wardrobe.  New York fashion week this season was no exception. Though I didn’t attend IRL, I kept a focused eye on Instagram and Vogue.com to watch all of the established designers and new talent to see what unfolded. My phone is now cluttered with screenshots and notes about everything new in the world of fashion that I’m ready to embrace. The problem with all of this, though, is that I’m ready to start wearing some of my favorite new fashion trends now—and I don’t want to wait around for six months for them to arrive in stores. Some brands have “see now, buy now” collections, but they’re still in the minority, so what this usually means is that I end up interpreting the trends in my own way. Ahead, I’ve carved out some of my favorite trends from New York fashion week and paired them with shopping pieces to wear now to tap into them. ...

Last season, Coach’s fall 2018 show took inspiration from the American West, much like many collections across the board. But for Coach, Americana is a touchstone that’s part of the heritage brand’s DNA, so it comes as no surprise that creative director Stuart Vevers built on these Americana references today in the spring 2019 show. This time around, though, inspiration was more specific to the Southwest and Santa Fe, where the designer recently traveled. I’ve been attending the main fashion weeks (New York, London, Milan, and Paris) for many seasons now, so when  Social Zoo invited me to come to Copenhagen fashion week , I jumped at the chance to add breadth to my fashion week experience. What I found delighted me: fresh design perspectives, introduction to new brands, and a refreshing community of designers who have cultivated a collaborative and supportive environment.
