As I’ve documented before, Instagram has become one of my common sources for a frequent dose of fresh fashion ideas. My feed is full of fashion girls who I follow for inspiration, whose outfits I often look to to fuel my personal shopping habits. It always makes me pause when I start to notice some common themes and on a recent afternoon of scrolling, I discovered a very clear new trend that Instagram fashion girls are getting behind: snakeskin.

The trend doesn’t surprise me in the least. With the movement towards animals prints for fall—like leopard, zebra, tiger, and crocodile prints—snakeskin is a natural evolution. What I personally love about the trend is how versatile it is. Wear a miniskirt with a crewneck sweater and ankle boots like Lucy Williams, and you have a cool take on a classic fall outfit. On the other hand, you can really lean into fall prints by pairing snakeskin pants with a leopard top like Emili Sindlev—a daring take on the trend.

A Redesigned Bitcoin.org One of our goals in 2018 has been to modernize the look and feel of Bitcoin.org. Each day, tens of thousands of new users come to Bitcoin.org to learn how to get started using the currency and technology. The site has grown exponentially in popularity as Bitcoin adoption has increased. Last year alone, there were over 30 million visitors to Bitcoin.org. These visitors viewed the site’s pages over 200 million times. Many of these pages are often the first results on search engines for bitcoin-related phrases and terms. As traffic and engagement has increased, however, the design has become very dated. In fact, the current look and feel of the site has pretty much remained the same for ~5 years, going all the way back to 2013.
