The Hills cast reunited at the MTV VMAs tonight to announce their new series, The Hills: New Beginnings, with Lauren Conrad very visibly missing. E! reports that Conrad is just very, very busy (and likely not that interested).

“Lauren is concentrating right now on her Kohl’s line and her charity work, which she is very passionate about,” the source said. “She is the head designer of her Kohl’s line and has worked with them for 10 years, causing her to fly cross-country several times a month for her work. She’s also opening her first store for Little Market right now.”

Back in 2016, Conrad was reported to be the one big holdout on a The Hills movie following the group’s 10-year anniversary TV special. Without her, the project didn’t move forward then. Conrad notably told Redbook in 2015 that “I definitely wouldn’t encourage my child to do reality television,” giving a clear hint on how she felt about spending her 20s on reality TV.

Right now, Us Weekly has confirmed that Heidi and Spencer Pratt, Audrina Partridge, Jason Wahler and Whitney Port are all set to return to the new series. Conrad was missing from the list.

People additionally confirmed that Conrad won’t be in the show. “She’s in a different place in her life,” a source told the outlet. “But she wants everyone to enjoy themselves. She wishes everyone the best.”

Help Test Bitcoin.org’s New Design Before Launch

A Redesigned Bitcoin.org One of our goals in 2018 has been to modernize the look and feel of Bitcoin.org. Each day, tens of thousands of new users come to Bitcoin.org to learn how to get started using the currency and technology. The site has grown exponentially in popularity as Bitcoin adoption has increased. Last year alone, there were over 30 million visitors to Bitcoin.org. These visitors viewed the site’s pages over 200 million times. Many of these pages are often the first results on search engines for bitcoin-related phrases and terms. As traffic and engagement has increased, however, the design has become very dated. In fact, the current look and feel of the site has pretty much remained the same for ~5 years, going all the way back to 2013. As a result, a large amount of effort and attention has gone into a recent redesign project, that’s getting closer to complete. After holding a community vote on various design options, the community selection has been extend...

Ghost Hunting Theories: Devil’s Hole Caves

Devil’s Hole – Death Valley, California Around the world there are legends of caves and crevices that become named “Devil’s Hole” for a myriad of reasons, but all of them are dark ones. Let’s explore just some of the Devil’s Holes found in the United States. Arkansas Devil’s Hole Cave LINK:    O ne day, an indeterminate number of years ago, the owner of the land where the cave is located decided to check out the place. He climbed down a rope about 200 feet to a ledge where the shaft narrows to a point that can only be crawled through. He suddenly heard a vicious hissing from the darkness, perhaps like a large lizard would do, and he made a hasty retreat. Some time later, he and some men from town dropped a flatiron tied to a rope to the same place in the cave. They heard a hissing sound and the rope was pulled hard. When they pulled it back up, they found the flatiron had been badly bent and scored with scratches and teeth marks. They next tried a stone and th...
