PLAYCES – EXPLORER EP

-

Out now via Infinity Pool Recordings, PLAYCES new EXPLORER EP. The new project features a remix from Red Bull Music Academy alumni Astrolith, who boasts remixes for Imagine Dragons, X Ambassadors and Cakes Da Killa & the title track gets a future-trap-soul rework from Infinity Pool label founder Conrad Clifton. PLAYCES is a collaboration between Aaron Rays and AX UX, two friends in travel. Each exploring new forms of creativity, PLAYCES was called to tune as a result of temporary inhabitants. Aaron is a producer/multi-instrumentalist from California’s Bay Area, who’s been playing drums since the age of 4. While the remixes on this EP are rad, I personally dig the original stuff more so! Check out the EXPLORER EP by PLAYCES below now and let us know your favorite tracks in the comments.

Help Test Bitcoin.org’s New Design Before Launch

A Redesigned Bitcoin.org One of our goals in 2018 has been to modernize the look and feel of Bitcoin.org. Each day, tens of thousands of new users come to Bitcoin.org to learn how to get started using the currency and technology. The site has grown exponentially in popularity as Bitcoin adoption has increased. Last year alone, there were over 30 million visitors to Bitcoin.org. These visitors viewed the site’s pages over 200 million times. Many of these pages are often the first results on search engines for bitcoin-related phrases and terms. As traffic and engagement has increased, however, the design has become very dated. In fact, the current look and feel of the site has pretty much remained the same for ~5 years, going all the way back to 2013. As a result, a large amount of effort and attention has gone into a recent redesign project, that’s getting closer to complete. After holding a community vote on various design options, the community selection has been extend...

Ghost Hunting Theories: Devil’s Hole Caves

Devil’s Hole – Death Valley, California Around the world there are legends of caves and crevices that become named “Devil’s Hole” for a myriad of reasons, but all of them are dark ones. Let’s explore just some of the Devil’s Holes found in the United States. Arkansas Devil’s Hole Cave LINK:    O ne day, an indeterminate number of years ago, the owner of the land where the cave is located decided to check out the place. He climbed down a rope about 200 feet to a ledge where the shaft narrows to a point that can only be crawled through. He suddenly heard a vicious hissing from the darkness, perhaps like a large lizard would do, and he made a hasty retreat. Some time later, he and some men from town dropped a flatiron tied to a rope to the same place in the cave. They heard a hissing sound and the rope was pulled hard. When they pulled it back up, they found the flatiron had been badly bent and scored with scratches and teeth marks. They next tried a stone and th...
