ASEROE’s Debut Music Video Is Ritualistic “Decomposition”

-

International black metal coven Aseroe is a project that transcends the black metal limits, often stretching them to lament the soul’s confinement.

Formed last year, the progressive depressive black metallers feature Hungarian and Greek members of Slavebreed, ex-Mahakala, and Mare Erythraeum; among other acts. Featuring two ambient-laced tracks of sonic ritualism, Aseroe will release its self-titled debut EP on CD, cassette and limited box-set Aug. 24 via Grey Matter Productions.

“(These tracks are) elegies to cry to when you are using public transportation,” says the band. “Dirges to listen to in the night, after masturbation to your ex’s memories. Music that will ease the descent into loneliness. A guide to welcome your inner guilt and past mistakes.”

Judge for yourself, above, and pre-order the EP here.

Help Test Bitcoin.org’s New Design Before Launch

A Redesigned Bitcoin.org One of our goals in 2018 has been to modernize the look and feel of Bitcoin.org. Each day, tens of thousands of new users come to Bitcoin.org to learn how to get started using the currency and technology. The site has grown exponentially in popularity as Bitcoin adoption has increased. Last year alone, there were over 30 million visitors to Bitcoin.org. These visitors viewed the site’s pages over 200 million times. Many of these pages are often the first results on search engines for bitcoin-related phrases and terms. As traffic and engagement has increased, however, the design has become very dated. In fact, the current look and feel of the site has pretty much remained the same for ~5 years, going all the way back to 2013. As a result, a large amount of effort and attention has gone into a recent redesign project, that’s getting closer to complete. After holding a community vote on various design options, the community selection has been extend...

Ghost Hunting Theories: Devil’s Hole Caves

Devil’s Hole – Death Valley, California Around the world there are legends of caves and crevices that become named “Devil’s Hole” for a myriad of reasons, but all of them are dark ones. Let’s explore just some of the Devil’s Holes found in the United States. Arkansas Devil’s Hole Cave LINK:    O ne day, an indeterminate number of years ago, the owner of the land where the cave is located decided to check out the place. He climbed down a rope about 200 feet to a ledge where the shaft narrows to a point that can only be crawled through. He suddenly heard a vicious hissing from the darkness, perhaps like a large lizard would do, and he made a hasty retreat. Some time later, he and some men from town dropped a flatiron tied to a rope to the same place in the cave. They heard a hissing sound and the rope was pulled hard. When they pulled it back up, they found the flatiron had been badly bent and scored with scratches and teeth marks. They next tried a stone and th...
