5 Of Paris Couture Week’s Biggest Moments

5th July 2018

Paris Couture Week, an annual spectacle of the most magical and beautiful clothing, came to a close yesterday. From the most star-studded front rows to the latest make-up trends, we’ve rounded up the 5 things we loved both on and off the runways this season.

1. Street-style goes couture

This season, the dreamiest looks weren’t just on the runway…

2. And couture goes to the street

Karl Lagerfeld recreated the Parisian streets for the Chanel couture show, including the distinctive green book stands along the Seine and the domed Institut de France

3. The coolest beauty look

The models at Fendi had exaggerated feline flicks inspired by the ’60s iconic Twiggy and her signature eye make-up.

4. The most star-studded front row

The award for the most star-studded front row has to go to Dior, with Katie Holmes, Emma Roberts, Kate Bosworth, Karlie Kloss and Erin O’Connor in attendance.

5. The talking point

Penelope Cruz was unveiled as a Chanel ambassador, attending the prestigious show looking like a true Parisienne in a classic pink tweed suite and a white beret.
